I did a good deed today and even though the good deed should be its own reward I do want to share.

I came home this evening really tired. All I wanted to do was get inside my house and scratch things that needed to have been scratched all day. However, before going inside I noticed a woman pulling a good sized and overloaded wagon behind her. She had who I assume was her daughter bringing up the rear. We live on hill so all I could think about was that poor mother dragging that heavy wagon up all by herself so I helped. No, not help her pull the wagon the rest of the way up the hill. I'm not Mother Teresa. Instead I bought some Girl Scout cookies to help lighten the load.

I'm halfway through a box of the good ones - caramel something or another, and the calories are a non-issue. I helped people today. I made a difference.

It warms my heart to hear that a member of PT was so giving and selfless. Itís stories like this that should go on Love What Matters. Truly, I think you should submit it.

Did you see the story about the girl selling her Girl Scout cookies in front of a weed shop. They say she sold over 300 boxes! Genius!

I once sold a couple hundred boxes by taping the order form to the bathroom door in my college dorm (I was a Girl Scout leader in college).

Not only are you a saint, I think you should be the patron saint of...something? According to my sources, a patron saint intercedes or advocates (in heaven I suppose) for a place, profession, activity, group of people, etc.

Hifiman-Patron saint of people who love cookies? Dessert? Chocolate?

Any other suggestions?

having been both a girl scout and a scout leader, you Mr. HIfiman are the only reason they will get to go camping.

I am not sure if that ^^^ is a commendable action or not. I did like camping, but I hated both bugs and snakes.

Proud of you!

Here's another girl scout cookie story.

I'm in an online sewing group. A mother wrote in and was pretty sad that her husband wouldn't go door to door selling GS cookies with his 7 yo DD. The Mom had helped her previously, and was hoping the Dad would step up. He said he thought the 7 yo should do it on her own. Um, no, no, and no.

If you buy online, you must purchase a minimum of 4 boxes. Love those Thin Mints!
