We’re expecting 6-10 inches of snow tomorrow. I’m supposed to leave town to go to an Ed Camp (and see my parents, but that’s kind of secondary ). I’ve been looking forward to this Ed Camp for months.

My district already cancelled school tomorrow and it’s an INSTITUTE DAY!!!

I will be homicidal if I get stuck in this god forsaken town this weekend. Seriously, there will be no words to express my anger and disappointment. Picture Sheldon on TBBT anytime he doesn’t get his way.

We are getting snow now, but not that much. Only about 30 miles south of you. Watch the big snowstorm of 2018 turn into a dud. And all schools closed.... Luckily, my district had conferences, so it was only a half day cancelled.

At least your school was proactive. I was hoping my school would call tonight, but probably won't until morning, if they do. Considering we had a bad day where they didn't call off, but a week later they called off for a day that wasn't as bad (and I would know, since I didn't bother to check and drove to school anyway). I wouldn't make any kind of bets on trying to figure out what the powers that be will decide.

You need to take a road trip with the terror twins and come to sunny Florida. Take them to the dog beach and get some rejuvination going

I hope your area gets bypassed by the storm and you can go. 12-14 inches is predicted where I live. Chicago Public schools and other area schools have already announced they will be closed tomorrow.

When this is over, I think we'll all be ready for spring.

Thatís one of the nice things about being retired- sitting here in my chair, checking PT and watching the snow fall outside.

BTW, I live about an hour outside Chicago, and it isnít what has been predicted...yet. All the schools are closed.

Hang in there!

On another note: We Illinois gals should get together sometime for a PT meet-up.

I'm in. Let's wait until warmer weather to do it, though!

I need to go to Prompt Care, which is about 10 minutes from my house. I should have gone last night. I'm going to use OTC meds until the plows come through. Hopefully I'll get out tomorrow.
