What would an older 40+ year old preK teacher appreciate as a gift? They both have families of their own as well. Anything beyond the obvious gift card, school supplies or ?? Please, if you teach 3-5 year old children what would you REALLY appreciate from a parent?

I teach PreK and I would appreciate gifts cards to Lakeshore (the teaching store) or Barnes and Noble, to buy books for the classroom. It doesn't sound like you wanted to get gift cards but that is what I would want. I spend so much of my own money on books and supplies for the classroom that gift cards to help me with it would be very much appreciated. I would NOT want more mugs, candy, body lotion etc. Also if you don't have a physical Lakeshore store in you area, teachers can still buy from them on-line. They have great PreK items!

A big basket of assorted craft supplies

New books for the classroom (even better if your kids sign inside the front cover!)

Ask your kids what toys are wearing out and replace them? (Or ask them what everyone's always waiting their turn for, and add more of those?)

A nice, new fabric or sturdy tote bag with longish handles, with a ton of different shaped and sized post it notes with some coloured pens and stationery!

The past gifts I have given to my assistants, administrators, and school staff:
1. Tervis mug with favorite football team.
2. Magnet therapy bracelet.
3. Fancy wine stoppers and wine glass charms (for the wine-o).
4. Fun to-do list type note pads (Knock Knock brand memo pads on Amazon).
5. Aromatherapy diffuser necklace with essential oils.
6. Contigo Auto-seal mugs.
7. Bouquet of flowers.
8. Beautiful designed notepad and matching pen.
9. Adult coloring books with a nice set of coloring pencils.
I think that's all. Hope it helps
