I just started cooking dinner for tonight and I'm out of ideas to avoid the tears. My wife and I are trying to eat more vegetables. I bought a thing of cauliflower and I'm going to try making mashed cauliflower. I cut it into pieces but I couldn't stop the tears as I did so. It's depressing that my life has come to this. Extra vegetables.

Well, no advice here. I eat my vegetables separately away from the rest of my meal.

Why ruin a perfectly good dinner with vegetables?

To cheer yourself up, add lots and lots of butter. It cheers those veggies right up, too.
