Our staff do a mystery gift giving. We have all been given a letter that the present must start with. I have the letter U.
Besides umbrella I can't think of anything. Does anyone have an idea. We spend $15. Thank you
Thank you very much for the great ideas. It now makes it more interesting. someone did get z. I bet the organizers got easier letters. Q would be much worse. We have done various things over the years but not the letters. When I first went there you actually bought for a person. Someways it was easier but some worse. sepending on who you got. One year we did the pass two spots to the right, across the table, back etc
I LOVE this idea. We take turns to do birthday morning tea for a staff member where every item (and gift) has to start with the person's initial eg Chris: card, candy, crinkle cut chips, chocolate mud cake, cookies ....
Your alphabet Mystery Christmas gift is fabulous. How do you 'distribute' the gifts?
Here are a few I thought of for U (pardon the pun):
USB gadget( there are heaps)
Underbelly DVD ( Aus TV crime series)
Underwater radio/ torch…
Under the shower timer ( Aus has a severe drought & water shortage)
U shaped pillow
Uni ball pen set
Unsalted nuts for Christmas
UV sun protection lotions etc
Everyone- please post for other letters!

this is a great idea. we do a staff polyanna, but the staff members who participate, write their name on an index and list 3 things that they would like. then, when you pull their name, you are supposed to buy one of those things. it's the worst! leaves no imagination and no surprise.
