I saw Elton John in Las Vegas a few years ago. He was great but $800.00 is more than I would be willing to spend on a concert! Good luck in finding the money!
I’ve seen Elton John twice. Once way back in the 70’s when he was young and thinner and singing with Kiki Dee. Then I saw him a few years ago on the Face to Face tour with Billy Joel. He’s good, however, I wouldn’t spend that much on tickets. Wait to see if they go down. If it doesn’t sell out, the price may come down. My limit would be 200 a ticket, and only for my favorites. But it would be a great mother daughter memory!
Elton John was my first concert back in the 70's. He was awesome! I had to get my brother to drive me and 3 friends, but it was worth it.
She has good vibes!
Elton John will be in Chicago next week Saturday. There are still tickets available in the level 200 section for $290-320. Check your venue and see what is left.
so this IS a last chance venue. I saw Paul Simon and not sure what tix were since my DS paid for DH and I to attend this summer! Great memory with him and his friends. Good luck! And great advice as usual.
I can remember where I was (On top of a carport), the year (1973), the season (summer), the feel of the weather (warm night) all of it, the first time I heard an Elton John song. It was the most beautiful song I had ever heard. Your Song
I wouldn’t say I am a huge Elton John fan, but I recently said to my DH that I would go to one of his concerts if I had an opportunity. He didn’t take the bait
Three of us, now retired, got to see Elton John at Madison Square Garden in NYC a number of years ago. I have to say, it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. We are going to see him at Madison Square Garden on the farewell tour in early November. It will be hard for him to top the first experience, but I'm sure he will try! Concerts are so much fun, but so pricey. We saw Billy Joel for the first time in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park because it was so much cheaper than seeing him at Madison Square Garden. He put on a good show too, but I'm not sure I would ante up the big bucks to see him again. Good luck with your sale and I hope you make the money you need to go.
