I have a box of orange cake mix that I would like to use to try and make cookies. I have never made cookie with cake mix. Anyone have any suggestions? What do you think I should add? Or should I just leave it 'orange'?
I have a cake mix cookie recipe that I love! I usually add dried cranberries and nuts to a chocolate mix. I think cranberries would be good with orange, maybe with white chocolate chips.
Can you share the recipe you have?
I would love to see it since I'm not sure how to do this, although I've googled a few and they do seem to be similar. But one with a good reference would be appreciated!!
I’ve made cookies like these before (and so did my mom) . You can switch it up and add in whatever extras (like cranberries and white chocolate chips) that you want. Careful with anything that will add moisture though as that will throw off the consistency.
I read a book series where the main character is a cookie baker and she has several different varieties of this type of cookie and she calls them all whippersnappers. I have her cookbook around here somewhere.
