I would like to ask for prayers for my dear friend who is very sick with Covid. The virus has attacked her circulatory system. She sent me a picture of her feet, and they are completely black and swollen. She tires out very easily, and is unable to even stay on the computer very long. She has compiled a group of pictures of friends she calls her Wall of Heroes, and was texting to ask for my picture. I'm very honored by that, especially since she is a retired Marine. Please pray that she will overcome this awful virus. Her name is Tudie.
She obviously knows that you are there for her, and now you are bringing the rest of us in to help you support and pray for her. My prayers have already been said for Tudie and will continue. Sending a hug for you, too, because of your great concern for her.
I am so sorry that the virus has attacked your friend so severely. It is even sadder that in this time, when we have supposedly flattened the curve in so many places, that there are still those who are suffering and passing away from this terrible illness. And at first, they thought it was a primarily a respiratory illness, but now they are learning that it attacks different systems.
Your post is a poignant reminder that despite all the re-openings and people starting to move about more freely, there are still those who are very sick. My hairdresser just lost her sister recently. Your pot is also a reminder to remain vigilant and continue safe social distancing and hygienic practices.
