Back to work!

Got a job on the 1st day!

Worked through a lot of stuff personally and professionally over the summer!

It'a just a job now for a paycheck but I can give it my ALL while I am there!

Hope everyone has a great year.

Life at almost 40-I am calling my 20s and 30s my trial and error years of adulthood....() and I am ready to move forward.

When not at "Work" going to try not to even think about it.

Taking up my cross daily and my daily bread-hope will makee all the difference.

Take care and God Bless!

My hat is off to you for subbing on the first day. I just booked my first job, but school hasn't started here yet, and this job is at the beginning of the third week.

Glad to see that you are feeling much more positive, OK4NOW. (((Hugs))) and ++++ thoughts for an outstanding year with lots of jobs!

Not in terms of subbing on the first day, we haven't started yet... and not in terms of it's just a job... but "life at almost 40"...

I started subbing at the elementary level at age 65. To some extent everything up to this point has been preparing me... and I would say I have found my passion and my purpose.

Among the many things I love (the kids are at the top of the list) is the recognition that I'm working with the future. And I can't believe how much I am learning from these little ones! It's also pretty cool that they think if their teacher HAS to be absent Mr. B. is an awesome sub.

Yep, hope makes all the difference.

Wow, the first day! We haven't started yet, but I have a couple of days booked ahead, too - not until almost a month in, though.

Good luck and a great year to everyone!!

The first day of school here is Aug/21 (Wed), so I won't expect anything until at least the following week.

Her we go again! ...Good luck to everyone in the trenches.

School started for us this past Wednesday...

I've already worked all three days and have the next 8 booked. It is a crazy start to the school year.

One of our schools hired a teacher who didn't show up the first day! (I don't know the entire story, but apparently this individual signed contracts in two districts and is currently out of the country!!!) How bizarre is that? At least another sub is getting some work until a full-time teacher is hired. Things that make you scratch your head...

I hope everyone has a GREAT year, too!
