Our principal suggested we try to give out an award for every child in our class. My kids are great in their own special way, and I could easily tell them wonderful things I love about them. But I have found it difficult to come up with actual "award" titles for this. Does anyone else give out awards to their kids. I could really use some help brainstorming on this one. Thanks!

Our school allows both academic and character certificates. Some that I just turned in were exuberance, diligence, efficiency, friendliness...... I have lots more if you're interested. It's a couple of pages worth. )
We also do improvement, consistent effort, significant progress, etc.

Our principal has the same policy. I have a personal problem giving "best dressed, cutest smile" type awards. For those who truly haven't earned anything in the academic areas, I give most improved, best effort, "never-gives-up" type awards for each subject area. Sometimes just having a boy and a girl winner for each award helps to spread some of the awards around--you can have 2 wonderful writers, etc.
