Taking an extra week (not happily)

Clip to ScrapBook #1

On Dec. 26, my husband fell while getting on his skidsteer and suffered a tib-fib fracture. He spent 9 days in the hospital (surgery/recovery/medication issues) and is home now. He is NOT the best patient. Anyway, I cancelled my three days that I had booked, and am planning on going back next week if we can get all the therapists booked and dr. appts. out of the way. NOT the way I wanted to spend my Winter break......

Yikes! Sorry to hear of your dhs misfortune, and hope he is well on the road to recovery. Family always comes first, even when you have an obstreperous patient. Hang in there, and keep a firm grip on your sanity.

Men make better nurses than patients
Hope your husband starts feeling better
