Glitter help

I love glitter on holiday things, but hate the mess! I have a pop out card and a fun paper page gingerbread house I make with my class, but every year the stress of the glitter makes me hate doing it. I need ideas on classroom glitter management! I teach 4th grade if that helps with ideas.

Use a glitter glue pen. No loose glitter! Get them at Walmart. I just bought a pack of four colors for 88 cents. You’ll probably need one pen for each kid to do a couple of cards apiece.

I like the glitter pen idea!

If you already have the regular, though, set up a couple of "glitter stations" in plastic tubs. - The kids take turns laying their paper in the bottom of the tub, glittering it up, shaking it back and forth a bit, then lifting and tapping off right in the bin.

You could also use glitter sticker sheets. The students could simply cut the paper into the shapes that they need need and place on their cards and gingerbread houses. I bought some at Hobby Lobby and they come in a variety of colors.

I have a glitter station set up on trays at the back of the classroom. It's still a mess, but contained to a smaller area.
