Clip to ScrapBook #1

I bought the IKEA book boxes that were plain white and 5 pack for $ 1.99. My kids loved that they could decorate their own the first week and keep it at the end of the year.

Where do you have your kids store their boxes?

Room for Boxes

Storing boxes can be tricky. A lot of teachers have theirs placed along the walls in the room. I bought cheap Walmart book shelves and had my husband change the shelving to hold them (two shelves vs. three) and it has worked well as they fit under the bulletin boards.
The IKEA book boxes are great and last all year but you can only buy them at the store. They are not sold online.

I also used the boxes from IKEA. Can't go wrong with that price. I did not have them decorate their boxes. I put their numbers on the box last year and was able to use them again this year. I took pics of the kids reading, laminated the pictures and taped it on the front of their box. They look cute. I have them on the back counter of my classroom near my reading corner.
