Think out of the Box

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I think that I saw these on PT. They are worksheets that have just a line or the beginning of a shape on them. The children have to create a picture by finishing the image using their imaginations. I wanted to use these think out of the box worksheets for our morning work but now I can't seem to locate them. If anyone has these or knows where I can get them, I would appreciate your help. Thanks

I haven't seen those worksheets, but i do an activity you might like. I read the book It Looks Like Spilt Milk, then i give them a paper with a sqiggle line. They use their imagination and turn it into something and write about it.

similar to squiggle writing. If you goggle this, it comes up with lots of ideas.

This is very interesting to me. I hope someone has the resource. Along those lines I'll share my best subbing resource. Teachers always loved it. The uncoloring book series. Kids loved them in 2-6th. Sometimes I used them in first. The kids have to make creative pictures out of something or to go with a description. My favorite was the one where they design the inside of a space saucer. So cool. That was the best. Wish I could sub for you and do them with your class.
