Leveling Books

Clip to ScrapBook #1

In the last few weeks I've been around to used book stores, book sales, etc and found lots of good books, and am in the process of trying to level them. I've been through and put them in the scholastic book wizard but still have a rather large stack of books that I couldn't find. Does anyone have another website or way I could level my books?? Thanks!!

There's also AR Book Finder, through the Accelerated Reading website. They cover thousands of titles, but I still find some great books that aren't in the system.

I just google the name of the book along with guided reading level. I put the book in quotes and then I put guided reading level in quotes and find them that way too. For example "The Cat in the Hat" and "guided reading level". With the quotes it searches with those words together on a website, rather than spread around anywhere on a webpage. I find them on various websites. You find more specific hits that way. Hope this makes sense! Janne

Here is a site I also use. I go here before I go to Scholastic. I created an excel sheet and now have a list of every book in my library using this site.
