It's killing my subbing days. Snow day the day before yesterday and now it's looking like "cold weather" days coming up. We're supposed to be as low as -30 this coming 7 days.

Iím in the warmer part of the south, so the only thing thatís really holding us back from working is actually getting sick with the flu. Itís really hard that we donít get sick days and thereís really not enough time to work during the year as it is with the summer and holidays. I feel for you.

I live in that same part of the world. Luckily, I managed to work on Wednesday in one of the few districts that didn't have a snow day, and today in one of the few districts that didn't have a cold day. Looks like more very cold weather coming up next week though..

I have four days booked next week. Monday is supposed to be viciously cold with blizzard-like conditions. Goody.....

I live in Michigan. We have had some pretty severe weather lately. One of the school districts where I sub had finals last week, Wednesday - Friday; 1/23-1/25. Wednesday and Thursday were snow days, Friday was day one of finals, Monday was a scheduled teacher in service day, no students, and school was cancelled Tuesday thru Thursday! We have had some severe wind chills warnings. I'm taking Friday off just because...I can. The school may have day 2 of finals Friday and finish up next Monday...

It is what it is...

I ended up with a snow day Monday, a cold day today, and another tomorrow.

No school. Again. Funny thing, it's supposed to be rainy and 40 degrees Saturday.
