Well, half-day. The p.e. teacher and I got a lot done. Planning, locker assignments (girls will be unhappy that they aren't choosing their own), some copies.... It'll be a fun 3 weeks, with lots of interruptions for beginning of the year drills and assemblies, but I'm up for it.... I think.... Tomorrow is the first day with students. I know most of the 7th and 8th graders. Of course, the 6th graders are new and all this will be scary for them. Glad I can tell them that it's new to me too (at least the beginning of the year stuff). Now I just need it NOT to rain the week we are outside for the beginning of the football unit.

My first day is the 24th. I also have the 25th, same teacher. She wants to meet on the 23rd to go over things. Still waiting to hear if I would be paid for this. Even if I'm not I'll still go in on the 23rd for a few hours in the afternoon.
