websites that read aloud stories

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am looking for free websites where students can listen to a story being read aloud while reading the text at the same time.

I want to use this with struggling 3rd/4th readers. This way they could still develop comprehension skills by listening.

The parents want to use the websites at home, too, which is why I am looking for web accessible and free!

Please send any ideas my way!

Thanks!

I have posted the sites that I found for my class to use on my website. This is the link to it http://teacherweb.com/IA/Cardinal/Youngblut/apt18.aspx.

I will be adding Mrs. P's to it!

Just google Flower Memorial Library site. Go under Children, and then Tumblebooks. My kids love it!
