I blogged about my classroom makeover and the reveal. It was a fun process and I'm hoping to make a few DIY posts too. Dairy crates to stools will probably be my first. It was a process!! I have a filing cabinet makeover posted as well:

Thanks for visiting!

I love the combo of turquoise and lime so it is an extra bonus for me...

I would just caution [all of us] about overwhelming the students with visual stimuli...

Will you do mini lessons about the BBs that are already up and put together?

Yes! Definitely planning mini lessons for the boards that are already up. They will also be resources for our reading, writing, and math centers. Trying to make the most of the wall space I have and the products I purchased

I agree on the extra visual stimuli. I think the photos make it look a little more busy than it actually is. There is enough space between areas and with the alternative lighting it is more "homey" than busy. I'm easily irritated and over stimulated by my surroundings as well, so I have taken that into consideration.

Thank you!!

I wasn't sure where to start. Then when I was working on bulletin boards, these were the colors that called to me. I just went on from there!!
