Toothache

I guess everything was going way too smoothly as I prepare for the new school year, so some hiccup was bound to happen. Our first teacher day is Monday, and late Friday afternoon, I developed an awful toothache. Of course, the dentist isn't open until Monday, and I am going to have to work it in during teacher work week. Thankfully, my admin is understanding about these things, but why do they always have to happen on the weekend?!

Iím sorry! Toothaches are the worst. Itís not like headache where you can massage it and get some temporary relief. Toothaches feel like theyíre attached to your soul. I hope the dentist can get you in quickly.

Leaves an emergency phone number for weekends. Have you checked to be sure if your dentist has one?

You might also check a walk in medical clinic. They might help with antibiotics and/or pain meds.

Donít leave yourself in pain all weekend and into Monday.

Toothaches are horrible.

Try applying clove oil for some relief. It tastes terrible but it works for hours!!

My toothache is so much better! Friday, the whole left side of my face hurt like crazy. Yesterday the pain had gone down a good bit. Today, it is almost completely gone. I credit prayer, but I am also assuming that something had gotten lodged under my dental bridge and was causing irritation. I was especially concerned because I am already scheduled to have some work done in that part of my mouth later this month that I have postponed due to scheduling issues and my regular dentist being on maternity leave. I'm not totally writing off a trip to the dentist tomorrow, but I it looks like I may be able to avoid it.
