Clip to ScrapBook #1

After teaching first grade for 15 years and using a Word Wall, I will be teaching second grade for the first time. I'm considering using a Sound Wall instead. Has anyone done this? I saw an Orton Gillingham Sound Wall on You-Tube and it looked a bit complicated. Any info/advice would be appreciated!

I made my own poster.

Mostly I listed all the vowel blends and their sounds. Might have added in some oddball blends like “ough”.

I just put it on a big piece of poster board and it got a lot of use.

Keltikmom. Did you make a different poster for different sounds? So your blends are on one poster, diagraphs on another?
