Vent #1: Dear co-worker. You say you are overwhelmed with so much to do YET you wander around all planning period complaining to whoever will listen. How about you get your stuff done?!? I get that you need a brain break but go take it by yourself so the rest of us can get something done.

Vent #2: Dear co-worker (a different one). Please donít ask to borrow my materials then repeatedly point out all the things you donít like about it. From now on you will be making your own materials.

I think people are just all around on edge this time of year. Myself included!

Ugh I"m definitely on edge too so we should sit together and complain. I worked with a Co-worker #1 for many years. I' like seriously? I need my time too.

Lock Door

I feel like these two people work at my school.

Due to the first one, I lock my door, turn my lights out and pretend like I'm not in my room. Time is precious and I cannot have yet another planning period wasted by her pointless ranting about how "busy" she is. Plus, this is a person who has about 80 less students than I do and three periods off!

The second one is a touchy subject. I have a co-worker who teaches the same subject as me. When I am absent (rare) she will come over and look at my sub plans and then criticize them. The last time she did it, she was absent the next day and texted me if she could borrow the activity. I wrote back, "Ah, since you thought it was too hard for students, I tossed it. Sorry!" I'm so done with her games.

I think we've all worked with people like that. I hope it gets better for you!
