Why would a district opt out of Jobulator? is there any negative effect for them?

What is up with that? I am so annoyed.

So now I am back to square one. Should I just download Firefox? What is the best and least expensive option other than hitting F5 or clicking 'search again' every five seconds? I've read through older posts and it confuses me. Can anyone sum it up?

Thanks so much.

Look on this board (use the search function) for the earlier, exhaustive posts on options. There seem to be a couple of paid options, but one is very expensive. The cheaper option is a little flaky with my particular computer.

I believe that districts have to pay extra for jobulator, but I don't know that for certain.

I downloaded the Firefox reload (For Free!) and it has been working out great for me. You just need to be in viewing distance of your computer.

Thanks Bonnie,

I did that today, too. I had to install Firefox first and now Facebook isn't working right, but I don't think that is just me. I do hate sitting and staring at the page. I liked the Jobulator bell and can't fathom why a district would want to give it up. Maybe a privacy thing?

Very few jobs come across, and of course this is a slow week anyway, with half days and the holiday. I have yet to see even one job come across, but it's only been a few hours. I know my Jobulator bell could go much longer than that without even ringing. Early morning will be the true test. I miss Jobulator already.

Just FYI, FB has been acting up for me today, too. Nothing much else to say, since I've never used Jobulator and can't get any of the FF apps to work with subfinder, which is what my districts use.

Thanks grav_def,

Yeah, seems to be a FB issue on top of it all ... as for the firefox auto-refresh, I have no way of knowing if it is working, since no jobs are showing up even still! I'll check it again in the morning. This all seems very unfair, that some have these programs that take jobs. I am wondering if the district might get mad if they found out about it, especially now that they appear to have fired Jobulator.
