Ordering stuff from TV

Do you? So far I have restrained myself from ordering: the genie bra, the flip and store and many others. The ads always seem to entivce, but the opportunity to touch and see the item in person is what helps me decide to purchase. I do order online, but it is usually some type of clothing I have already purchased at the store, just a different color.

I was REALLLLY bored this weekend and watched HSN for a little while (ok---read: I was reallllly LAZY ). Anyway, I almost pulled the trigger on the Cheeks flip flops by Tony Little (The Gazelle Fitness guy). They're pretty neat and you can change the straps but nope; I refrained. Why, you ask?? Wellll...because I couldn't decide on the black set or the brown set...can't have one without the other and then, BAM, I'm up to $80.00 in FLIP FLOPS! lol

I'm all about neat and nifty "As Seen on TV" stuff.

What has everyone purchased?!

I've ordered things like P90x, Insanity (love both programs!), and a few things from QVC that I can get in a package deal for a better price than at a regular store. I've not ever fallen for the NuWav oven or other type promotion. I'm with you... I want to touch and feel or at least read reviews before buying something.

DH ordered...

DH ordered Sensa, and then realized after he ordered it, that he ordered the women's. Then, he called the company, returned it, they sent him the men's, and it sat for the last 20 days, before he decided that he's going to return it, and guess what? He never opened the box.

So, I can say this stuff must not be what it's cracked up to be, because he definitely wasn't as interested as he should've been in trying to use it after all the hoopla.

He returned the second box yesterday before the 30 day trial. Make SURE if you do the 30 day trial...his advice was be SURE to read the fine print, if not you'll get stuck with about a $90 charge on your card(they send you month 1 and 2 in the 30 day trial), if you aren't careful, and forget to send it back BEFORE the 30 days is up.

I wanted to try the gyro bowls!! I always find the stuff at Bed Bath & Beyond in their As Seen On TV aisle. I got a Mr. Steamy and that flip flop thing for the shower that cleans the bottoms of your feet. I ordered mini flashlights on QVC. I don't know what I was thinking on that one. It was at 3 in the morning and I was up with my two month old son!!

Never even been tempted. Shopping is definitely not one of my vices.
