Hi! New 2nd grade teacher here, wondering if any resource sites are worth getting a paid subscription for?

Hello-
I use my subscription to mailbox almost everyday. I have the online membership so I can print worksheets directly from the website. I previously also had teacher's helper and mailbox delivered but found the online membership was much more useful since I can search for specific skills. I teach fifth grade so haven't searched for second grade skills. It's definitely worth looking into though! Good luck!

Reading A to Z is definitely worth it! You can download tons of different books by level. Perfect for guided reading or differentiation.

www.edhelper.com is a helpful resource for creating worksheets for math and spelling. They have tons of skills to choose from.

Mailbox gets my vote!

The mailbox site has to be my favorite. I pay for this one myself. My school pays for my edhelper which I've used quite a bit also. If I could only afford to do one, I'd pick mailbox.

Mailbox has the best ideas! I use Teacherspayteachers.com A LOT. You can find many worksheets and games on there that are free. If you choose to purchase something, your money goes directly to the teacher whose selling it. I like that!

Scholastic Teacher Express. It isn't a subscription website, but it does allow you to download Scholastic ebooks. They usually have a great sale once or twice a year where you can get Scholastic resource books for between $1 and $5 dollars. You can also choose to upload the whole book or specific pages for what you're teaching. I usually wait to buy until the sale comes though because they have such great discounts.

As for paid subscriptions I also use the Super Teacher and Teachers Pay Teachers site.

I love mailbox and teacherpayteachers. These are the websites I use the most. Also bloggers have great ideas and are willing to share. Just type in first grade websites and a ton will come up.

So which Mailbox subscription do you get? The regular one or the gold one for $59.00? I loved the magazines but haven't gotten them for a few years. Anyone have the iPad app for this magazine?
