I don't usually play the lottery, but I couldn't resist a chance at a half billion dollars. I bought one ticket. Wish me luck.

Years ago on the radio one of the DJ's said that if he won the lottery (one of the other huge ones), he would be on the radio reading his list of people who could kiss his #ss.

I say for $500 million dollars, I'll deliver the news in person.

I bought 2! I love the idea of winning and I love thinking about what I will do with the winnings. I would finish the year teaching and that would be it. I would then be on the best trip ever!! I would be so happy to win any amount of $$$, honestly.

We have a Mega Millions billboard outside of our neighborhood. Our kids (9 and 6) love to tell their dad to buy a ticket and keep him updated as to how much it is. This is def. the most it has been since we've lived here so they are excited

I did. I bought 5 one for each adult that we will be with then they announce the numbers. It was funny I took the kids with me and they wanted to know what I would do with the money....It would make like and teaching more enjoyable....

DH always buys one if it's over 100 million (because obviously, anything less than that isn't worth having, right? ). I always laugh at him when he buys it but I'll be more than willing to help him spend it if he ever wins

I have a set of numbers that I play every week. Here is how I play. When they announce on TV that they are going to display the winning numbers, I go grab a dollar out of my purse. If NOT EVEN ONE of my numbers comes up, I jump up and down yelling, "I win! I win!" I then go spend the dollar on something frivolous. If EVEN ONE of my numbers comes up, I put my dollar back in my purse.

I bought two, so I have an infinitesimal chance of winning. I don't get the thought process behind buying more than one of two tickets. Say you buy 700 tickets. Your chances are still infinitesimal, just a tiny increment higher than one who buys 1 ticket.

I have to go tomorrow. . .I could use a half bil in my saving account

My co-op actually told me he'd give me a million if he one. He's give one of the other student teachers two million when asked why he said because he know I want to be a teacher so that way I'll still work

DH and I have our tickets! I went with a friend that I was giving a ride home to buy the ticket. She bought a few too and I hope she wins. I can't think of a better person to win. I would love to win, but she deserves to win.

A huge group of us at work pooled our money and are buying a bunch of tickets. It was funny to see people sign up-no one wants to be the only one left at work if we hit the jackpot!

I love your way of playing!!!

I started the pool at work today. I bought 90 tickets for our site this evening.

Then DH and I will buy our own as well. I only play once in awhile...

Mr. Sensai: Tell me your numbers and I'll buy US a ticket. I promise to share the winnings with you

We NEVER play the lottery at home, but last night, DH went out and got TWENTY tickets. Gotta be in it to win it. He said we both deserved to retire early.

Best of luck to all of you!
The most fun part is the dream!

DH and I stopped on the way home from dinner. I had $15 so I bought 2 powerball tkts---I figure most people are not buying those with the mega being so high, so my chances are better

Then I spent the other $11 on mega millions! Oh, the things I would do if I won........

If you saw my previous post, you know how I play the lottery. NOT EVEN ONE of my numbers came up, so now I need to figure out what I am going to do for fun with the dollar I didn't hand over to the clerk at the nearest convenience store.
