When I was a young mom monthly bunco nightspot were very popular. None of my younger coworkers have even heard of bunco. Is it still played where you live?

Maybe 4 or 5 years ago we met up a few times a year for a game night with some coworkers and played it. So much fun!

Yes! There is a bunco group in my former subdivision. They meet monthly. I used to be a sub for the group when I lived there.

Yes! I loved playing years ago when my kiddos were young and I could look forward to one night a month out with friends. So much fun!

They still play it in our area, but it's way different here now. Most of the time I see them playing, it's more about the drinking and less about the game. We never drank when we played, but maybe it was just the group I was in.

I am a member of a group and know of many more in the area. The ladies in my group have all been friends for years and we enjoy getting together once a month. Every February we have a couples Bunco night and invite the husbands to join us. They mildly complain about joining us, but they have so much fun!!

My neighborhood plays once a month. The hosts provide drinks, food and dessert. We play once a month. Two women host. We usually host once a year or once every 18 months. Lots of fun and yes adult beverages are involved.

I just joined a group and played for the first time last Thursday! I had a lot of fun! Yes, there was wine to drink, but that wasn't the main focus of the evening. Meeting new people, enjoying good food and drink, and having fun together is what our evening was all about.

I have played in the same group for at least 18 years. People come and go, but the group keeps going! I know of several other groups in my immediate area.

There's a group of teachers at my school who play. They're all in their 50s and 60s. I don't actually know what it is. Dice? Cards?

I am in a group. It has been around for about 20 years. I have been a member for about 3. We eat and then actually play for an hour. My former group eventually starting visiting and only rolling dice for winners without actually playing. Then the group evolved into a restaurant supper club, then it fizzled.

It is a dice game. We have 3 tables, 12 players and a set of 3 dice on each table. Three 6's = a bunco, two 6's = 5 pts. and one 6 =1 pt. The goal is to either get a bunco or 21 pts. first at your table with your partner.

It gets loud and silly. At the end of the night there are loser prizes and winner prizes.

I was invited to join a group of women I didn't know by my cousin, fast forward a few years and 4 of the "new" members ate old acquaintances. It's a fun night out and I learned to branch out.

For those who play: sometimes we end the night with a game if Left, Right, Center. Big winner girls home with between $24 and $30. Google it!
