Crafts for kids

I will be keeping my niece (who will be four in October) for a few days here soon and was looking for some craft type activities to do with her. She comes over once a week just for the fun of it and we do a lot of baking (which she loves) so I was looking for some other things to do. I bought some Magic Nuudles. I think she will love those. If you have young kids, do you think the Perler biggie beads would be something she would enjoy, or will that be too hard for her? Do you know of any other types of crafts like this for kids her age?

Are you on Pinterest? I set up a new board every year for my granddaughter. I save lots of cool ideas from there . She scrolls through and decides what we'll make. Lots of easy paper crafts. Animals with googly eyes are fun!
Today we made brightly colored paper popsicles that we glued to a craft popsicle stick. Then we hang them on the fridge.

My 6 yr old daughter loves arts and crafts. A fave of hers is making bracelets with beads and pipecleaners or necklaces if you have string. She loves play-doh, painting with water colors, look up easy toilet paper roll crafts, etc.

My Dd (same age) got this for Christmas. It has 6 activities and they are fairly easy for small hands—I just had to tie the thread but it has a big plastic “needle” that dd could thread. Lots of fun stickers and she really felt like she was sewing. I would definitely recommend it!

I have a craft box. paper stickers tape glue pipe cleaners markers, etc. I let the grandkids create. They love it. This is great if you need a few minutes to do something.

Thanks for the ideas! I have a lot of craft materials at home, just need to browse Pinterest. Making bracelets/necklaces is a great idea. I think she would love that. The sewing kit looks right up her alley too.
