Book recommendation

I知 flying across the country tomorrow for 6 days. I have a Kindle and need a good book to pass the time.

I like romance novels, true crime, and celebrity biographies (but will read anything if it holds my attention).

I looked up Best Sellers on Amazon but was overwhelmed. So, anybody have a good read they can稚 put down? Throw them at me!

A Woman is No Man
Where the Crawdads sing
The Silent Patient
Wreckage
The Husband's Secret
A Mother's Confession
The Girls of Pearl Harbor

Sorry, I don't have my kindle in front of me so I don't know the authors but IMO all of them are page turners and hard to put down books. (for me anyway)

Becoming by Michelle Obama was terrific. I don't really read romance or true crime so no recommendations there. But Outlander by Diana Gabaldon is fantastic and does have some romance in it.

The Gifted School would be perfect for a long plane ride.

I just finished The Better Sister by Alafair Burke (literally, just finished it 20 minutes ago). I love Alafair Burke, and this was a great book. She has a number of other books and I seem to recall I've liked them all.

ETA: Oh geez, I just re-read your post and I did not do a good job reading your second paragraph. In fact, I think I skipped it entirely! My book rec doesn't fit into any of your categories. Sorry! It's more suspense/mystery. Carry on...

I just read the newest book by Joshilyn Jackson, Never Have I Ever. It was really good! Very twisty plot that will definitely keep your attention. She is so good at writing multi layered, interesting characters. Highly recommend!

Glad to hear there are other JJ fans out there, lol. She's definitely in my top 10 of favorite authors!
