trasie, may I ask in what general area of the country you live? Some of us were talking recently about how food posts here at PT vary greatly by region.

take fresh fruits of whatever type are available locally. I just clean them, cut them up, and put them in a large bowl. Usually it will be cantaloupe, honeydew, and/or watermelon, grapes, blueberries, pineapple, kiwi, and any other likely looking fruit I find. I am not a fancy cook.
A family favorite is Grape Salad which had the brown sugar and I think cream cheese? If you google it you would probably get the recipe. It takes a variety of colors of grapes and some pecans, but I don't have the recipe handy. My niece usually brings it to family gatherings and it's delicious!

Thank you canteach! It was very kind of you to post the Grape Salad. It sounds delicious and I’ll look it up.

trasie, as I PMed you, I’m so very sorry that I asked about region. I feel terrible that it caused you to delete your post. I really was just wondering—I wasn’t trying to take your thread in a new direction. Please forgive me.
