Now This!

Some of you probably read my post 2 days ago when my credit card account was hacked and someone bought a $2,000 dollar computer with it.
At least my credit card company had enough sense to call and we were able to cancel it and a new one is on the way.

Now this Last night, someone in Jordan somehow logged into our Netflix account. They changed our password. We got an email from Netflix AFTER this happened. Now we cannot get in or get back our account. Netflix isn't accepting calls right now and their "chat" is available starting at 10 a.m.

How could Netflix let this happen?

My DD just messaged me that her Netflix account was hacked this morning. They changed the email and everything. Netflix was great about getting her back in!

Hmmm...

Do you have that information stored on a computer? It sounds like someone may have got information about passwords, accounts, etc. from information saved on your computer.

I would change passwords on EVERYTHING!

Yikes! That is scary! It seems that someone has a hack on your brain. I hope nothing like that is happening to us- I'm not sure dh would notice or attend to emails about that. He didn't bother being concerned when we were getting charged some money MONTHS after we canceled something. Of course, this was 22 years ago, but I'm still not over it It just reminds me of how inattentive he can sometimes be.

Teachnkids,
that is exactly what happened to us! How do they change the email connected to the account is what I donít understand. We did get it fixed through their chat option, too. All passwords (in all accounts) are changed with two factor authentication now.

GraceKrispy,
Yes, scary, but it made me really mad! I was looking forward to finishing Instant Hotel and reading your spoiler thread!

lol owl! I'd be ticked off, too. Such entitlement from these thieves who think they should have something just because they can manage to make it work for them.

I hope you finish watching it and join the thread!! I'm a little obsessed with this show right now

I don't know how they change the email. I've tried to do that on other accounts and you need an act from Congress to do so!

My Gmail may have been hacked today. My sister text and asked if I sent her something. I said no and then even double checked. Nope! Password changed immediately!

One time someone hacked my Kohl's account and ordered something mailed to her house. Cops refused to do anything. I had her damn name & address!!
