I realize this thread is for our photos and that this is not mine. This made me smile this morning and I hope makes you smile too.

You might have to look closely for the fin/teeth on the hat I sent DGS. He loves sharks and hats.

Barb/Ohio- those trees in bloom on your street are absolutely gorgeous. What a beautiful neighborhood for your walks!

I saw these guys while out on a walk this week. The left one I met in the morning, he was hiding and I almost missed seeing him. The picture on the right is a very rambunctious beaver that was having a nice evening swim after the river ice went out. He was loud, slapping his tail many times as he swam around. I watched him for about 10 min.

super disappointed that i couldn't play my typical April Fool's pranks on my class this year. (the prank that i had already set up much earlier in the year--previous students told my current students how big of a prankster i am and to watch out on April first---my plan was to do NOTHING and make them squirm all day--here's a word search--oh! there are words in there. do you want brownies? why would you expect Brown E's--these are edible....silly kids)

but we had a big earthquake on the 31st and i saw my opportunity.

sent them this pic and told them it must have escaped from the zoo during the earthquake.

(do a search for "3D animals" to see how to do this)

I stretched out on a blanket in my backyard staring at the clear blue sky for quite awhile yesterday. It was so peaceful.

We feed birds, which means that we also feed squirrels, rabbits, and chipmunks. This was just a sampling of what I saw on the camera earlier in the week. I told DH that they were trying to tell him to come outside and fill up the feeder.

I have no idea what mountain this is. It was taken from the plane as I headed home from Issaquah, Washington a few weeks ago.

Cookies

This was my last cookie order for a garden club in mid March. They requested peonies. Now I’m watching cookie Decorating videos and honing my skills on Bluprint (free until March 9) I can’t make any cookies during all this or I would have to eat them all myself. There are many good free classes on cookie decorating from total basics to harder techniques. I recommend Amber Spiegal classes (sweet Ambs).

Took a nice hike today. This is why I am in NM right now instead of CO. Colorado is pretty messy with melting snow and limits what you can do out of doors. Great spring hiking in NM.

Love everyone’s pictures! Emma couldn’t wait until I sewed the bench blanket to try it out. I am making masks for my family. Yellow one too small and cats are upside down. I did a really nice one for my son. He needs them most.
