Are you celebrating? My dd wants to have a gourmet meal delivered to me. I appreciate the thought but I honestly think I would feel worse sitting alone eating a meal. I would prefer to do nothing.

I intend to celebrate alone by eating as much chocolate as I want.

One of the students in my class had a birthday. His mom emailed me and wondered if I could drive by at a certain time and wave to say happy birthday as a surprise. I did that, but it was really hard because as he was watching cars drive by he said, "Mrs. Owl98???" and started running to my car to say hi. I had to remind him to stay back.

Happy Birthday sonoma! I hope you can facetime your dd while you are eating the gourmet meal and enjoy it. Your dd would love it.

Mine is tomorrow. Usually we just have an inexpensive dinner out in town. Mexican is usually my choice.

Since that's not an option I plan on spending the evening at home with my wife, kids, and my nephews that we're keeping right now.

It doesn't bother me. That's actually my favorite thing, to be surrounded by my awesome wife and amazing kids that I love.

Yesterday was my DH's birthday. DD came by with big poster signs for our yard...they sang Happy Birthday from a distance.
Then left a frozen ice cream cake from the grocery store. Nothing fancy-but it meant a lot.

A former student turned 13 and her mom requested cards from friends. Hoping she was surprised to see one from her 1st grade
teacher. The mom felt bad that there couldn't be a special party.
Dad is in Army so they have moved across the country.

My birthday was Monday.

We celebrated by having a seafood boil feast at home. We roasted oysters and made a low country boil.

DH, my sons. & i celebrated

Normally, I would have a big party with about 50 family members & friends, but didn’t due to COVID-19 this year.
