Are you still experiencing TP shortages? What part of the country?

Still a rare commodity in southern California.

Still very rare and hard to find here in South Georgia. My mom found some during senior hour at Wal-Mart last week. She also found paper towels and bread, which have also been pretty rare. She called me when she got back home and you would have thought she won the lottery with how excited she was about her finds. We had a good laugh about how much things have changed in such a short amount of time.

I'm in central California and I've had no problem finding t.p. I might have to go to more than one store to find it, but always manage to locate a pack.

I found it two weeks in a row on Sunday morning, in Publix near Flagler Beach, Fl. I also found paper towels, chicken, and beef. The only thing in my list that I couldnít get was spaghetti sauce. I was happy.

Well, since I canít drive yet, Iím not sure about in the stores.

Iíve tried to secure a package online. But it appears here in Northern California, one can only get tp by visiting the stores. So Iím doomed.

Got some from our grocery store order when we picked up curbside about March 20th and we picked up in the afternoon. Have not been to any store in person or ordered any sense.

I lucked out...

Several weeks ago I lucked out. It wasn't what I was looking for on Amazon but it was the only available product. My sister laughed until she saw an ad for an at home container to store it. In the meantime it's lovely to bypass any available rolls in the grocery store. I have to keep rolls in a canvas bag to protect them from the cats. Now instead of storing 6, 1 fits perfectly.

I do wonder if restaurant or office supply stores might be a source for others. You might want to check out any in your area.

I still have enough for now from just my normal stash, but was thinking about trying the industrial route to order some soon. I read an article that said the issue is that all the office buildings and malls aren't using so stockpiles are sitting there unused and that home usage is way up. People aren't using more, they're just using it in different places. Good to know retiredkat found it on amazon!

Haven't looked in any stores in a while, but online it's still pretty brutal.

Just came home from Sams Club. Several pallets of their 45 roll packs. Only 1 pallet of Charmin. Nothing else that I saw but I wasnít looking.

Hit or Miss...

When the virus situation hit home, people were crazy. TP was definitely a hot commodity. I was lucky that a few weeks earlier, I had bought a large multipack in Costco. I have three bathrooms and keep TP in all of them on reserve.

I was in my local Stop and Shop today and they had a decent supply. It was early, when they opened, and people were limited to one package. There were limits on paper towels, as well. I took the opportunity to pick up a package. You just never know, .

People in my area are still reporting shortages or no availability at different stores, so I think it is hit or miss. I am in northern NJ.

TP Hunting

I'm in Illinois too. Most big stores don't have it, but Family Dollar has. I haven't needed it yet (have 7 rolls left) so I figured I would leave it for those that truly need it. But when I'm down to 3, I'm going TP hunting.

I need to shop on-line and haven't been lucky getting it but I don't really need it yet. My cousin's DH got a 30 pack at Wegman's and one of my nieces got a 30 pack too but I'm not sure what store she bought it at. From what I hear from family members they are having a hard time finding. My aunt ordered TP & PT from WB Mason, she was able to get the PT but not the carton of TP.

I actually havenít even looked for any. I had about 25 rolls here already because I shop sales and use coupons. We use about a roll a week.

I did see some jumbo packages at our local Save a Lot on Friday. They had them stacked right inside the door.

a pack of 6 rolls at Wal-Mart last week- allowed to buy 1 per customer. I purchased a box from Samís Club online on March 25th and I received it this past Saturday, April 4th. I was persistent in my search and checked throughout the day on the Samís Club website. You just have to be online on their website at the right time in order to purchase the tp.
