I have semi often cleaned the outside vent of the fridge. Ok- maybe I should say I have cleaned it here and there. I’ve always just gotten a rag and dusted/wiped it down. Today I noticed/decided to pull it out. Oh wow!!!!!!!!! Grossed out/shocked at at all the dust bunnies.

My old fridge had a grate in the front that had clips that held it on. Somehow those clips broke and we couldn't use the grate. I never thought about stuff building up there. One day I decided to vacuum under the fridge. As I was on the floor vacuming "under" the fridge I realized that I thought was insulation was a collection of dog hair, bread ties, bit of dog food and such. I began pulling it out with my hands. It was disgusting and I was truly shocked at how that stuff layered up there without me having a clue.

I have been home since the 12th or 13th. I ran a wet mop over them yesterday. Yuck.
