retirement pub crawl

Friends and I are participating in a fun pub crawl (aka bar tour!!) to celebrate some colleagues' upcoming retirement. We'd like to have a little contest to see which retiree can complete the most silly items on the retiree checklist. Can anyone suggest some things for this checklist? For example, which retiree can get: a group of patrons to sing the ABC song, a signature from 5 retired teachers, a bartender to pledge allegiance, etc... This is just a silly activity but we need more ideas that will challenge the retirees!! Thanks friends!!

Your party idea sounds like so much fun.

*Get a few patrons to line up when you blow a playground whistle. (Too disruptive?)

*Get a few patrons to raise their hands before talking or placing an order at the bar.

*Reprimand, just for fun, patrons who are "talking too loudly" at their table.

See if they can get someone to sit down by only using a “teacher look”
Can get a patron to read from a Dr Seuss book

Have them politely remind patrons to push in their chairs.

Stand by the bathrooms and ask the people heading in, "Are you sure this is an emergency? You're responsible for anything you miss while you are in there!"

Remind patrons to "Tell your feet to walk."

Ask people at the bar, "Are you making good choices?"

Sounds like SO much fun!

Find someone who has a "teacher item" in their purse.

A magnet, a dice, a counter, a highlighter, a pen, a lanyard...the list is endless!

Very fun idea for the right teachers. I may need to borrow this.

Go up to a patron and convince him/her you were his/her teacher.

These are fantastic ideas- what a fun party this will be!

A seating chart challenge would be fun-- You could observe another (rowdy) table and the person who comes up with the best seating chart that would likely make the table the quietest wins (you all vote, you don't make the people actually move ). Or the quickest to create a seating chart for a section of the bar that meets certain criteria (e.g., boy/girl, blond hair/brown hair, whatever).

You could challenge a receptive table to a quiz (the kind where you ask the next person to solve a math problem or something and if they respond incorrectly they are out, and keep going around until only one person is left).

(Use your judgment on who to approach for some of these things, though-- there are some who would definitely not appreciate being part of these activities )
