Joining you from Greece to say: Hello Friends! I miss you and send big hugs. Isnít retirement grand? Three weeks in Greece in October! No Parent-Teacher conferences to prepare for, no assessments, no jog-a-thons, etc. YOU know!

😘💕

I check this board EVERY single day! I am not yet retired, but getting closer! I am 99.99% sure I will retire in May. I caught myself last week thinking about reworking a lesson for next year and then I remembered.

It's looking like I might have a part time office job waiting for me. 49 will be too young to completely retire from any job.

I love hearing about everyone's adventures and wisdom.

You all have been very helpful.

I am also 49 and 99% sure Iím going to retire in May!!! I need to do some sort of work to make some extra money while Iím still paying for health insurance for my spouse and children- one in college and the other just graduated from college and job searching. I scared and excited all at the same time. I know I canít take the pressure of teaching anymore. The mental health struggle is real. I too enjoy reading these posts. And Iím currently going through all my teacher things, too. Happy last year!
