I swear I saw something somewhere about a website where you can donate to pay for food to be delivered to hospital workers in places like NY. Does anyone know of any legit websites to do this?

That is a wonderful idea especially since anything homemade is out of the question for now.

Maybe check major news station online information. They may have links where you can help.

My niece and her husband own a small restaurant here in Maine.

Her community has started an "Adopt a restaurant, Feed a Health Care worker".

It is helping to keep her restaurant open and serving meals and also providing free meals to health care workers.

Area people and organizations have donated money to the restaurant and they provide free meals to any health care worker.

Maybe try a community site, where you can help provide a meal to a medical professional, but also help small businesses?
