Great news

Georgie, the neighborhood feral had been missing for about a week. He's been around for 3 years. He knows he will get 2 meals a day and an afternoon treat so he's a fairly regular guest. I had made some progress with him but not enough to keep him indoors. He allows me to pet him, he'll sit on my lap, and eat treats from my hand and finally even purrs for me. When he hadn't shown up for so many days I just knew the worst had happened. Then just a little while ago there he was on the deck! I had been so worried and I can't tell you how relieved I am. There is such a sweetness about him despite his hisses. He's a bit scruffy looking but no signs of injury.

I am glad he is okay and returned. Who wouldn't want to return to their sweet place to land?

Hes a handsome guy. Maybe hes like Six Dinner Sid and was getting his meals elsewhere for those few days but decided you were better.

That's what I tell myself when he doesn't show up for a meal. He's never been gone for so many days. But he's back into his routine, eat, drink water, and leave.

I think we're all a bit scruffy looking these days! Glad he returned....you're a kind soul.
