How to Obtain an Out-of-State Address?

What's the best/cheapest way to obtain an out-of-state address that ISN'T a PO box? I know the UPS store offers mailboxes in which they give you a real street address, but are there other options too? And unfortunately, I don't have any friends/relatives who live out-of-state.

Would this be to receive residency? What would be the purpose?

You need to be careful or youíll wind up in a cell next to the college bribers.

I had to deal with this recently for my husband's business. I ended up using the PO Box that can look like a real address, but I found out about these. I don't know how good they are, but you can take a look and see what you think.

Why do you even need it? The easiest and least sketchy way is to move.

Largely tangential but I used to live in a small town without home town mail delivery. Had to have a PO Box. Pain in the butt.

RVers use mail forwarding services in Texas, Florida, and South Dakota. They go to the state which they chose for residency and one of the services provides them with an address. I do believe it is a PO Box. The service then forwards their mail to where they need it, when they need it.

They do need to go to the state to declare residency but they donít actually live there because they travel full-time.

This is the only situation that I know of where someone has an out of state address. I donít know if this is of any help for what you are looking for.

Thanks a lot guys and thanks eeza for posting those links. It's for the kind of reason that eeza's husband had to have his.

So eeza, when it's time to do taxes, they don't question why he states that other address for his work for that? What do you tell them?

As someone suggested above- full time RVers do this all the time. Understand Though whatever state you use is the state you get your drivers license, registration, and insurance through.

I wasn't sure about that either, but the it was run through the state's system and it appeared fine. We just did it, so we'll see if we need change it later on down the road.

Thanks eeza for replying. Thanks everyone. I'm also going to call a couple of tax preparation services like H&R Block & Liberty Tax to find out how this would work in my situation.
