1.) Do you have any Christmas/Holiday decorations that have been in your family for generations? our Nativity scene is the one from DH grandmother’s tree. It is over 60 years old!
2.) Do you have any special meals that you eat for Christmas/Hanukah? Cookies. Tons of cookies!
3.) Do you buy your pets gifts for the holidays? I don’t have a cat now, but I always got her catnip. It kept her busy while we opened our gifts.
4.) Do you plan on doing any kind of holiday shopping this weekend? Nope, unless I need ingredients for cookies.

A toy.
4.) Do you plan on doing any kind of holiday shopping this weekend?
On line only. I shop right after school to avoid crowds.

1. I have ornaments from my grandparents and parents. They are very special to me.

2. No special meals. Our family has special cookies called Good Cookies. I havenít made any yet.

3. No

4. Probably online shopping. I went to two places last night for shopping. I came home with quite a few gifts. But since I have to drag my leg everywhere, I came home exhausted and in great pain. It will be couch shopping for the rest on my list.

2) Still deciding what we'll make for Christmas dinner. We usually have bagels for breakfast.

3) NO pets.

4) All done! Just need a gift for the Toy Drive.

1. Some lovely Noel candlesticks from the 1940ís that belonged to my French grandmother. I think of her when I put them out. I had an entire box of antique ornaments but most were broken by my kids years ago...
2. We have a big party with kids and grands a few days before Christmas. We have lasagna, eggplant parm, and chicken parm. My sister has a Christmas Day brunch.
3. No pets here. Just my fish and he doesnít really need anything.
4. Just need to pick up some votive candles. Going to see a band at a beach bar this afternoon!

1. I don't think I have any here at home. A few years before she passed, my grandmother bought me several strands of wooden garland for my tree that are made up of little candy canes, beads, and peppermints.

2. My sister usually makes lasagna every year for Christmas. That was also my grandmother's specialty when she was still with us.

3. Usually we just get her Christmas shaped treats that go in her stocking. She's an older dog and doesn't care about any kinds of toys.

4. If I do any, it will be online. I was off yesterday and got some done at the mall.

1.) Do you have any Christmas/Holiday decorations that have been in your family for generations?
I have a decoration from about 1930 that belonged to my mother when she was a little girl but nothing earlier than that.
2.) Do you have any special meals that you eat for Christmas/Hanukah?
Oh, there are so many!
3.) Do you buy your pets gifts for the holidays?
We don't have a pet but when our dog was alive, we always gave her a special treat on Christmas. Man insisted because he didn't want her to feel left out.
4.) Do you plan on doing any kind of holiday shopping this weekend?
Only if I don't have what's needed for the gifts we're sending off this weekend. We try to shop only on weekdays, one of the perks of retired life!
