Great idea. I just created a new group. We can post how much we paid for it, what we will do with it, and poems we write about how great the M-F cart is!
There's always a new "thing" on PT that everyone gets excited for. Awhile ago it was Vista Print. Now it's the M-F cart. This too shall pass. Just skip over the posts.
What a negative post! You don't have to read a post if you don't want to. You can totally skip over them and not give them another thought. I am happy that the people that wanted the cart got it!
I'm not reading the M-F cart posts anymore...but I understand the OP's "frustration".
I love Vista Print, but I got tired of the bazillion posts that I had to skip over a few weeks ago... oh well, like a PP said, "This too shall pass."
Gotta love PT and all of our fabulous purchases during the summer months!
Well there are dumb posts! ??? apparently can't afford her and is having cart envy. ha ha ha I love the m-f cart but I won't be joining a group. I'm going to keep on posting right on this board, like it was designed for.
I didn't get a M-F cart b/c I have something similar already...but isn't that one of the purposes of PT? IHO, PT is here for teachers to share their ideas with other teachers so everyone can benefit. I can see where this is a gold mine for some teachers - it can be a great organizational tool. I appreciate it when people share what they have and what works for them. Some stuff won't work for me and I skip over it, some stuff works for me and I must have it/implement it.
Just skip over the posts that you don't want to read. No one is making you read them.
It's just like a real Staffroom here- there's always someone ready to do the complaining!
Thanksfully all the wonderful, positive PTers outweigh the few negative ones.
Anyone else sick of hearing about the "M-F" cart?!
Maybe it should get its own group....
Here's an idea - when you see a subject line that says M-F cart, skip it! Why complain about it? If I'm not interested in something, I just don't read it. Why should you care if others want to discuss the glories of the M-F cart?
the MF cart posts, too. but i still read them all to see who got them for $21 and what state they're in, how they're going to use them, feel bad for those that can't find one, shake my head at the people who say "what's an MF cart?", "put up a picture of the MF cart", and "i can't find it online!" and it also won't stop me from exclaiming: i got my MF cart today--wheeeee! and the checker just said, "oh really?" when i stated that some other folks had gotten theirs for $21. phhhhlllltttt.
i was also sick of all those VP threads! but i read every single one, looking for better ideas than i had, and better deals than i was getting in my mailbox. oh, yes, that's right---i DID join the VP craze. didn't even have to ask the silly question, i just checked it out! and BTW, i made some more fun stuff yesterday! AND today i thought of a use for the Loyalty cards (but perhaps will make some with postcards instead). (having a "perfect" binder X # of times)
i missed the boat on the Tervis Tumblers---but i know how to google (reference the always fun website "let me google that for you") and they looked too expensive for me.
stretchberry, you had me worried there--honestly, do we need another group? i think we should all start our day with that particular group; reminds me of how to keep things in perspective.
To the original poster (who btw decided to "sign out" to be negative)....as my dear mother used to say "You can get glad in the same pants you got mad in!" Get over it! Don't read posts if you aren't interested! SKIP OVER THEM!
