In what order does everyone introduce the traits? Our faculty has been discussing trying a different order this year. We think sentence flinch should be introduced earlier. Also, I had difficulty teaching voice last year in 3rd grade because of time and some struggled with understanding it. This year I'm in first, should I even teach the voice trait?

In my school's curriculum, for 2nd grade, only four of the six traits are taught: ideas, organization, voice, and conventions. They are introduced in a quick one week overview. They are expanded and reviewed with each writing unit.
