My students love to use magnets to make words and put together the letters in their name.

I have tubes large small, PVC pipes. they connect them and make awesome creations!

and Pool noodles cut them in half and we make ramps out of them! use bouncy balls to go down the hole! they just love this. (they use the shelf to lean the noodles ramp so they can watch and see who's ball goes down the fastest!)

our classmates faces on jinga blocks...the kids like to play schoolhouse and use their classmates.

oatmeal boxes or Pringles cut out the bottom and they build with them or push cars through it. (tunnels)

my students love the spelling center. This center changes weekly, there is a combination of painting spelling words, molding spelling words by creating a model which represents the word, Spelling City activites, beat the clock, ABC beads, stamps.

Throughout the year I teach the children some simple math games to practise skills. They just love playing!
A lot of my games are from the D5 sisters CAFE site for math and others are from Shari Sloane.
