Last week I was told that I was selected for a second interview. They requested I send official transcripts in order to set up a second interview. I sent those on Monday and was told Tuesday morning that they received them and every was reviewed and accepted. I was told that I would hopefully hear back from the SPED department shortly. I've heard nothing yet, but I'm sure they are backed up now and hopefully will soon.

Do you think this is a good sign? I'm hoping the "second interview" is just a formality with the department supervisor at this point.

The second interview might ask for teaching demonstrations. Best case scenario is that it is a formality. Congratulations and hope you get the job!
