I want lots of purple in my room this year! I've been doing a jungle/safari theme for the past few years, but I want my favorite color to be the main thing. What kind of theme goes with purple? I am going to have purple bulletin boards, and try to have purple accents around. But what about a theme? My coworker uses purple and teal in circle shapes around her room. I know I really don't have to use a theme, but I'm trying to think of something that I can focus on using that color. Thoughts?
I am lucky to have been able to paint my classroom, so yes! it is purple and silver grey. I have 1 wall that is 4 shades of purple
I have the other walls that are a silver grey, very light.
My bulletin boards are covered in black paper with different variations of circles for borders.
So, I don't really have a theme that is a color so to say, but I love my room
colors
They make me happy
What comes to mind for me is a large purple octopus if you would like to incorporate the colors of blue and purple in your room. The arms could be 8 long chains to give it a 3-D effect. It could read " I'm a Sucker for Learning." You could add some jelly fish and fill those translucent disposable shower caps with purple paper and the fronds could be curled ribbon. Orange and yellow coral or fish might make the purple pop a bit too. Sorry if I got carried away.
Anything purple will be great.
I like the purple monochromatic idea!
Using grays, black and white, WITH PURPLE!
That way you don't go into purple overload!
