I had 3 interviews yesterday all for different districts. I usually send my thank you notes a day after. Today I woke up to a phone call from AP asking for the personal phone number of my supervisor as my supervisor was not in the office today. I gave the number to AP and they said that I was being considered for the 2 positions they have.

Should I still send a thank you note since I didn't get a chance to before AP called, or is it a moot point now if they're checking references? I just don't want to come off rude.

I would still send to the districts you didn't get the offer from (I'm assuming you've had other contact with the district who did offer to you!).

I vote still send! It's not yours yet and it could set you apart from the other candidates. Plus, if they do hire you, it will start you off right away with a good impression.
