I don't want to do this anymore. Just venting.

And the very next class I was informally evaluated. Great! I think it went ok.

I completely get it. I hope the evaluation went fine and tomorrow is a better day. I am retired now, but I always felt like those informal observations and other administrative walk-throughs were "got ya" type opportunities. I was lucky that because my personality and classroom were not showy, I tended to be under the radar and except for the one unannounced observation required by the district, I didn't have too many other visitors.

I know how you feel! I don't think I can do this for 20 more years.

I can't believe I'm feeling this way and it's most days that I'm feeling it. Actually, I am not even sure that I have had a day where I felt differently. .

I'm so ready to be done, but I have 5 more years. It's too late to do something else and too early to retire so I keep trying to find the best in every day. It's going to be a long 5 years. (Especially since I think I'm being moved next year to another grade after only being in this grade for 3 years and 25 in the grade before. Ugh. )

I had a long talk with my aunt who got me to see all the positives of our job. I can do this. 10 years until retirement

I'm entering the Fall Slump time of the school year myself. Strangely, the weather being warmer than normal keeps me thinking it's still early Fall.
We'll see how I survive this next month that only has one day off for Veteran's Day. It makes for lonnnng weeks.

And I sincerely am thinking of quitting mid year. My administration is a joke. I get threatened daily and things are stolen and broken daily, but my supervisor refuses to suspend.

"And I sincerely am thinking of quitting mid year."

This needs to happen more. Maybe someone in education will get a clue.
