I donít work for T-Mobile! But I just wanted to pass along this info. They have a new senior plan called Unlimited55 (one person has to be over 55) one line $50, two lines $60 a month (includes taxes etc.). I just switched our plan and it will save us a lot every month. Just thought Iíd pass it along in case anyone is interested.

We have TMobile and are very happy with it. We travel internationally about twice a year and they used the same system as many other foreign countries. It has been easy to use overseas.

I was so interested to read your post. We have had Verizon for over 20 years, mainly because it was the only one available with any range in our remote area. But...it has been a LONG time since I've sat down and really investigated.

I have looked through the T-Mobile site, and unfortunately, T-Mobile's coverage for our area is about half of Verizon's.

Sigh. One of the disadvantages of loving in the rural West.

Thanks for letting us know, though. It really is a good deal (especially compared to my bill), and I'm sure others will be able to take advantage of it. (perhaps Verizon will feel the pressure of competition...)

I know this won't work well for everyone, but I just want to mention that dh and I pay only about $10 each for our TracFones. They have worked well everywhere we travel in the US and Puerto Rico (but not internationally). We do have limits on our use, but we don't use our cells much (we still have a land line), so this works great for us. If we are in a situation where we will be using our phones a lot, we just add more minutes.

I will be looking into this. We pay more than that with sprint although I have been fairly happy with service. International is easy and costs little if you stick to texting and use WiFi ( which we do try to utilize).

We are going to check this out. We need more data than our consumer Cellular plan gives us. I really like the unlimited data idea!
