At what age should a child be able to independently do dot art?

My SIL and BIL are getting upset with their son who turned 2 at the end of of November 2019 because he cannot sustain focus while completeting the following worksheets:

I'm using every bit of willpower to not say something. I don't think it's developmentally appropriate for a child that young to be able to do those independently. However, I've been stuck in an "autism bubble" ever since my son was diagnosed in 2016...kind out of touch of what to expect from neurotypical children.

My best guess is 4ish.

A 2 year old should be expected to "work" about 5 minutes tops imho.

4-5 for most kids, some will like it and do it younger. Regardless, a 2 year old shouldn't be doing worksheets at all. Just blank paper for scribbling, painting, etc. at the most.

Yes, say something. A 2 year old should be exploring the world. If he/she wants to "dot up" a picture, let him/her, but it shouldn't be assigned or judged, imo.

Just my opinion. I would find a way to phrase it nicely!

Worksheets for a two year old are not appropriate. Maybe around 4 years old, right now like the pp said, they should be exploring their world. Blank paper is appropriate with crayons or markers or whatever.

There's lots of things a two year old can do, but worksheets shouldn't even be on the list.
